We traveled from Canada to Birmingham for the first time and we were looking for real authentic fish and chips! Grove lane definitely did not disappoint!!! The service was absolutely incredible and the food was excellent and everything we wanted! We will definitely be back and would highly recommend!

My first time ordering since new owners have taken up the Business and 100% they’ve lived up to the legacy left by the previous owners. Ordered Small Tandoori Chicken Pizza and Large Fish and Chips - Food was 10/10 🌟 Tandoori Chicken pizza was beautifully cooked and had good volume of toppings and cheese tasted amazing. Fish and Chips was also very nice especially the first cooked well and chips were really good cooked to perfection sauces on top really made it unforgettable. 🌟 Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for that Traditional chippy and also for Pizza 🍕

Honestly, I didn’t expect much from a place that does both fish and chips and pizza, but it was actually really good. The fish was fresh and properly crispy without being greasy, and the chips were hot and not soggy, which is rare these days. The pizza surprised me too proper stretchy cheese, decent crust, and loads of toppings. You can tell they actually care about what they’re serving. It’s the kind of spot you’d happily go back to after a long day when you just want something tasty without any fuss.

I eat here daily — the food is always fresh, delicious, and full of flavour. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, and their customer service is outstanding. Prices are very reasonable too. It’s great to finally have a halal chip shop like this in the area. If you haven’t tried it yet, I definitely recommend giving it a go — especially the fish cake, it’s amazing!

Great food, can’t recommend this place highly enough. Since Aziz the new owner has taken over, it actually resembles a proper takeaway. Pizza is top drawer and love the chips as well. Keep it up👍🏽
